Hi, Just a note to let you folks know that I manufacture 3" and 4" front lift kits for 1st generation Sportages. The kit includes: Front strut spacers, sway bar extension coupling nuts, rear bump stops, and rear universal shock grommets.

You will need to supply rear springs (TJ Heep rear 104AA's for 3"'s of lift and 106AA's for 4" of lift), and rear shocks for a 1999 RAV 4. I suggest Gabriel ProGuards from Autozone. They give a great ride and have a smaller diameter so the rear tires rub very little on full articulation if you don't have enough rear offset.

On the drawing board is an adjustable PANHARD Rod, and a TUBE FRONT BUMPER.

Check out my website: www.upyourkia.com it has before and after pics and you can get some ideas of what can be done.

You can email me at: everet@upyourkia.com with questions and pricing.

I currently do not offer any bumpers like in the pictures.

Looking forward to helping you UPYOURKIA

Everet

Should have a pan hard rod by the start of summer. I need to test it first.

I know that D.S. was using the Procomp shock 124510 for the rear (3.5 to 4 ") suspension lifts!

I got these same shocks from the RSG 4" lift. The reason I say this is because my front end is considerably lower then the rear on my sporty. I was thinking of getting the tj 104aa for the rear (3"), but with my current shocks of procomp 124510 (brand new) ...I think that they will pop out the springs due to their length.

What shock number are used from the RAV4?

And how much do they cost?

If they are in fact used for the Rav4 aren't they a tad bit short (like will ride on the TJ Springs) mostly????

Just wondering/OUT LOUD that's All.....

You see, I got a front ward droop going on....and man I would really hate to lower anything though!!!!

Any advice?

Maybe I need spacers for the front???

I could be looking into the wrong area......

BTW: Never dug the "hotrod" look!

P.S. The Procomp124510 will work Great with the 106 springs for around $29.95 a piece

P.S.S. The photo does no justice regarding my case....At least a 10% or greater decline from front to rear on my RIG (Even after new total IFS...and Aux front Shocks)!!

Thanks again for any input........

And thanks Everet for all you do for us!

OK,
I plan to order the 104AA's .......But, will the Procomp 124510 Schocks be to Long?

If they will work then I will order your Springs to lower the rear end a bit!

Sorry but I don't have the Extension and Compression stats (will try to call and see what they say............Cause these shocks are brand new (cheap price though $29.95 each).

As far as spacer in the front, I decided against this idea......after looking at the CV axles (with my 4" lift) they appear to be stressed just in park (almost a 30 degree angle) OUCH!

Ya I know, they are supposed to be straight.....But if someone came up with a bracket for the center of the lower arm attachments then that would even out the front D-Shaft as well.......................It would be great if one wanted to retain the IFS status then I would forget about SAS ----At least for a couple of years Razz

If this can happen, then I will raise the rear.....LOL

Maybe the Eibach lift of 2.5" was actually the smartest way to go initially (at the time) like Big Mikey wrote on his pictorial post of lifting .....But guys like Everet are making changes for us to better the suspensions issues Rock ya

Everet, if you get me a quote on the price for the lower arms "BOX deal" .....Then I will be seriously interested....and whoever else can work on this!

Then we could lift the front up to 5-8 inches.......................

Thanks,

Mike
